New York Jets 7 Round NFL Mock Draft (1.0)
The 2018 Draft was about finding the quarterback for the New York Jets. The 2019 Draft will be about building around Sam Darnold. In this 7 Round Mock Draft I go through which prospect the New York Jets could target in the upcoming draft and how they will address their biggest needs heading into the upcoming season.
Why the Jets have won the offseason
It’s been an incredible offseason for the New York Jets. On this episode we look at how the organization has done everything this offseason to help with Sam Darnold’s growth. We break down all the moves the Jets have made and how each transaction could benefit the Green and White in 2019.
Jets need Mike McCarthy to be their next coach
With reports that the New York Jets will interview former Packers head coach Mike McCarthy for their next head coach it’s clear that he’s the best choice for the job. I go through all the reasons why he should be the organizations first choice and why he’s the perfect coach for Sam Darnold.
Breaking: Sam Darnold out for Week 10 with foot injury
According to Ian Rapoport New York Jets rookie quarterback Sam Darnold is out for Week 10 with an ankle injury. This means that veteran Josh McCown will be starting under center for the New York Jets when they host the Buffalo Bills.
#Jets QB Sam Darnold is dealing with a foot sprain that will knock him out this week, source said (as @MMehtaNYDN reported). Out, then the bye, and he’ll be assessed on a week-by-week basis.

This will be the first start Darnold will miss in his professional career and comes off the heels of his four interception game against Miami. Darnold appeared to be in a walking boot at Wednesday’s practice and while Darnold has said he is fine, it appears the Jets are protecting their first round investment.
With the Jets bye after the Buffalo game this weekend, it would give Darnold two weeks to heal up before the final stretch of games while at the same time giving him a chance to learn from the sideline.
We will update you on this story as more information becomes available.
As Darnold’s play cools off, the Hot Seat for Todd Bowles just gets hotter
Todd Bowles was on the hot seat coming into this season and it’s only gotten hotter as Sam Darnold has regressed in recent weeks. On top of that Bowles made some questionable decisions in Miami such as keeping center Spencer Long in the game despite multiple bad snaps and then calling out his defense after the game despite giving up only six points.
Check out this episode as I explain what Bowles has to do to keep his job and what coaching candidate I think the Jets should target for their next head coach.
